Blogging can either be done for fun as a hobby or done with the intent on making a generous income from home. Unfortunately, there is so much information on the internet it can be hard to find a solid blogging guide. Here is my best at sharing my knowledge of blogging:

So what is Blogging?

To begin with, blogging comes from the word blog. Blog, in turn, comes from the word Web log. Are you catching on now? Good.

But in layman’s terms, a blog is an online journal. It is somewhat like a Web site except that it is more easily updated and contains an archive of entries written by the blogger.

Different bloggers have different purposes. Some bloggers to express their innermost thoughts and treat their blogs like diaries.

Others bloggers share their knowledge about a certain subject. For example, a travel blog will contain the blogger’s adventures in different places or the places he or she wishes to feature.

Anyone can blog. As long as you have access to a computer and the Internet, blogging is possible. Don’t be intimidated by professionals and self-proclaimed experts. Instead, try to interact with them using your own blog as a gate pass.

Blogging helps you connect with people on a different level. Some even have a better chance to networking through blogging than through face to face encounters!

There are millions and millions of blogs on the net today. Most of the people who start blogging do so for the sheer fun of it. All you think about is just to write about what you know. Then all of a sudden, you start receiving responses from people all over the world and commenting about what you wrote. Before you know it, you already have yourself a sizable amount of readers and visitors.
